innerFriend-self communication3.1 - App Store

People often say, "I have a friend..." - but the friend who knows you best is you.

iFriend is a conversational journal. Start a topic, then speak as the different voices in your head - the hopeful you, the worried you, a wise mentor, you in ten years - and talk it through like a chat. Torn about quitting your job, winding down before bed, or too anxious to think straight? Let every voice have its say. The answer is often in the conversation.

HOW IT WORKS
. Start a topic, like "Should I change jobs?"
. Pick who's speaking above the text box and write as that feeling or role
. Create your own roles with a name, color and photo
. Look back and see how your thinking unfolded

FEATURES
. Chat-style journaling with bubbles on both sides
. Role library: Optimist, Pessimist, Belief, Enthusiasm, Fear, Wise Mentor and more, or make your own
. Edit, copy or delete any message with a long-press
. Timestamps in chat, optionally on every message
. Voice messages and photos
. Pinned conversations and full-text search with highlights
. Stats: see which inner voice speaks the most
. Your name and photo, theme color, chat background and text size
. Dark mode
. Export and import a full backup, including photos and voice notes

PRIVACY
. No account. Everything stays on your phone and is never uploaded
. No AI - nobody reads your conversations
. Optional Face ID lock with passcode fallback
